Metal organic Frameworks (MOFs)
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are produced by linking metal nodes and organic ligands by strong bonds. The synthesis and structural characterisation of MOFs has attracted considerable interest over recent years due to the fact that they can be made porous, have large surface areas and tunable pore sizes and topologies, which leads to versatile architectures and promising applications such as adsorption, gas storage, separation, catalysis, drug delivery, for sensor technology and luminescence.
The TR MOF 2019 will provide a unique academic platform to the participants during which the theoretical and application aspects of MOFs will be discussed in a lively, multidisciplinary environment.
This seminar will also offer the opportunity for the organization of teaming efforts and collaboration on future projects!!!
